Default Time to replace the clutch

Looking for a recommendation for a trusted clutch repair shop in South Calgary.

Last go round was with a Honda Dealer on a Honda Fit. Brutal experience-Tried to charge $500 over quote which was already high, shoddy work-never changed the Throw-out bearing and it started chattering shortly after repair.
Now failing within 60K km.

Just looking for quality work at a fair price. Shop I used to use was a few blocks East of Shaw GMC, but are no longer there.

Any recommendations from personal experience?

Dominion Transmission. Chinook area, just off 58th.

We had a sun shell replaced on our Sierra. Prompt service, quality work, good price.
That would be my first call.

Problem with standard transmissions. They fail so seldom no repair shops. However very simple repair when it does happen so any quality service shop can handle repair, just bolt in new clutch and throw bearing.
Most clutch problems result from "riding the clutch" get your foot off the pedal it is not a break peddle.

I did call them for a quote and the price was awesome, but something seemed a bit sketchy as the owner kept insisting on telling me that it was a great deal and that he should be charging at least $600 more.

I decided to follow the recommendation of a trusted buddy in the auto body business of where they send all of that kind of work and have booked in for next Monday.

Will report back after the work is done as to my experience.
