Ouch. This one will be used as a motivator for the next.

Harsh. Shut it down after pulled Talbot. Oilers were standing. Sharks were buzzing, shooting. No physical play. Draistl spears guy Nutz. Anything sharks tried, worked. What impressed me about Sharks, is discipline. Few penalties against sharks. Oilers penalized often. Imagine dressing room, flight back Edmonton pretty quiet. Best of 3. See what happens.

It seems like a big loss because it was 7-0. But at the end of the day it is only worth 1L and the series is tied. Now it is a best of 3 with two games in Edmonton. They will be motivated now and will come back hard.

It was one bad game. Not the end of the world. It's all in how they respond in game 5. Only time will tell.

Fun fact:
San Jose has hit the seven-goal mark on two other occasions during the postseason. The first was on April 30, 1999 against the Colorado Avalanche, when the Sharks won 7-3. The second game was in 2014 against the Los Angeles Kings, when they earned a 7-2 win in Game 2. Only to lose both of those series.

If you think yourself a true oilers fan but hate on the oilers after a lousy performance. You are not a real fan!

What a display of complete melt down all over the ice...lessens learned the hard way, learn and move on if not get the golf clubs out boys and pick a course.

Default Another Broadcast Leak

Edmonton Oilers broadcasters leaked a video last night during the second intermission. Seems to be a growing thing.

That one made me laugh. It's what we were all thinking. At least it wasn't meant for any one person in particular.

If the only way a Calgary fan can feel better about their 3-0 deficit is to kick the Oilers while they are down, have at it.

Maybe the Flames coaching staff can inspire their players like Torts did and get you fans at least 1 win like the CBJ. But actually I now hope it is a complete roasting at the Saddle Dome tonight; nothing like getting swept at home.

This year I am pulling for all the Canadian teams. One thing I noticed with the flames and ducks it is the old guys getting it done. So much for rebuilding and dumping all the old talent. Calgary maybe should have brought Iglna back

A wise coach once said about the playoffs that you have to learn how to lose before you can learn how to win....the Oilers got a lesson in spades about that last night... now to see how they react.

I'm not sure if battling immaturity with more immaturity is the best way to go. Reading all of the hockey topics is kind of funny, because unless I'm in the dark, no one on this board plays in the NHL, coaches in the NHL, or had any part of picking any player for either the Oilers or the Flames. All the comments, mine and yours included, come from opinionated fans. No one's comments actually hold any value, and I only quote you because it's a good example of "My team lost today, so I hope your team loses tomorrow.", so don't take my comment as anything personal.

Good luck to the Flames tonight, I hope they pull out a win and the city is rocking. They gotta have better luck at home than they had at the Pond.

In all honesty I will cheer for any Canadian in hopes that the cup comes back to Canada. 2000-2010 is the only decade in history that the cup hasn't come to Canada at least once, and I don't want it to be 2 decades. More Canadian advancing to the second round the better. But in the end at a BOA there can be only 1

The above is a quote from you on the Flames fans thread.

Wow, flip flop much!!

I was cheering for the Calgary Flames team as I was hoping that all Canadian teams advanced to the second round. But my sudden desire for the Calgary Flames fans to have a terrible night and cry themselves to sleep, has pushed that aside.

Probably has something to do with the Calgary fans relishing in the Oiler's defeat last night.

There would not be any real fans or a BOA if it wasn't for uneducated opinions and blind dedication.

I extended a temporary hand in friendship to my southern Flames brethren, only to have them turn their backs and laugh at us. If we can't have the BOA on the ice this year, we might as well have it here!

I sure hope the Oilers aren't flying back on United. I don't think they can take another beating.

First of all, I'm not a Flames or Oil fan. You're taking this way to personal for a guy that has ZERO at stake other then being a fan, relax it's all in fun What are you gonna do when they don't win the cup!!

3-1!

Stick to your game boys.

McDavid just wallpapers a guy mid ice. They'll do the same to him.... and we suffer.

Not his job!

The Oil gotta realize... the NEW kids never get the calls. They gotta earn them.

Sharks will ALWAYS get the calls.

Accept it.
Rise up.
Overcome.

Too many young bucks gotta get a shake by Lucic.

Maroon needs to grab a brain.
Just hit man! Your effective enough with just that.

We hit three posts early. It'll come.
