What kind of game James we talking hold 'em or a SHames game?

I think the hockey gods love the Flames, they won on the road for petes sake. I think if my 2 fellow OIL fans put up there banners then maybe the gods will reward us with a Flamers slump...:rollin

Kanon.
Holdem. I really like playing and allways on the lookout for a friendly or not so friendly game:eek :eek :eek

We just played at .50 a chip last night. But I would love to get into a bigger one. But still .50 makes for a great time. Lots of laughs. No one got hurt. a HUGE bet was $10. A few all ins that were called.

Yes, it would be nice to see the other 2 with that Signature.
The more support the better.

Well, Flames win tonight (Thanks Kipper). Avs lose.

Leaving a seven point difference and 6 games each left.
If flames win 3 of the next 6 the Avs are out.
Flames win 2 of 6 then the Avs must win 5.5 of the next 6 to win
I hope the Avs don't pull some kind of miracle.

Edit: Guess I took too long to post this.....

Default Banners

I don't have to put that banner up until the end of the last game of the season and not a minute sooner.

And I still have to figure out how to do it.

We may have lost this bet but theres no way I'll be takin it gracefully. I'll behave the same as Baude until the puck drops next year.

Hey Crafty...do you want some cheese with that wine..:rollin

The Hockey News did a survey with 283 NHL players, and when asked ,"If you could play for any NHL team (other than your own), which would you choose?" They answered-

1) Toronto Maple Leafs (34) 14.4%
2) New York Rangers (29) 12.3%
3) Detroit Red Wings (19) 8%
4) Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks (18 ) 7.6%
5) Dallas Stars (15) 6.3%
6) Colorado Avalanche and Montreal Canadiens (14) 5.9%
7) Minnesota Wild and Tampa Bay Lightning (10) 4.2%
8 ) Phoenix Coyotes (9) 3.8%
9) Calgary Flames (8 ) 3.4%
10) Anaheim Ducks and Florida Panthers (5) 2.1%
11) Nashville Predators, Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins (4) 1.7%
12) Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks (3) 1.2%
13) Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabres (2) 0.85%
14) Carolina Hurricane and Edmonton Oilers (1) 0.42
www.thehockeynews.com/en/...News=24100

So, why do players not want to play for the Oilers Organization?

To what city would you least like to be traded?
1) Buffalo Sabres (40) 16%
2) Edmonton Oilers (28 ) 11.2%
3) New York Islanders (24) 9.6%
4) Pittsburgh Penguins (18 ) 7.2%
5) Florida Panthers (17) 6.8%
6) Carolina Hurricanes and St. Louis Blues (13) 5.2%
7) Washington Capitals (12) 4.8%
8 ) New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers (9) 3.6%
9) Columbus Blue Jackets and Montreal Canadiens (8 ) 3.2%
10) Calgary Flames (7) 2.8%
11) Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings (6) 2.4%
12) Nashville Predators (5) 2%
13) Los Angeles Kings and Ottawa Senators (4) 1.6%
14) Philadelphia Flyers and Phoenix Coyotes (3) 1.2%
15) Atlanta Thrashers, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks and Toronto Maple Leafs (2) 0.8%
16) Anaheim Ducks, Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars and Tampa Bay Lightning (1) 0.4%

Good game. Iggy with a hat trick, Kipper was solid.

Please tell me if I am wrong, but is Calgarys magic number "2"?
Looks like Col will win tonight so that gives us each 5 games to play and Calgary is already 7 points up.

Ed lost again tonight. Way to strive for a better Draft pick.
Thats a forward thinking bunch we have north of us.

And this is why I Flames fans annoy me, who cares if my OIL lost tonite besides Oil fans? We're outa the playoffs what does it matter??.. now you guys want to rag on us losing ( like we're throwing games to get a better draft c'mon).... like it or not our franchise in the good times or bad will ALWAYS be the measuring stick to which Flames fans aspire or you wouldn't constantly bring us up. We're like the older brother you try so hard to be like even when we screw up you wanna be like us, as good as we were/are.....as a team the Flames and to a degree the city is kinda insecure......sort of Linus without his blue blanket

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Your right!
I cant stand knowing that forever and a day Edmonton has usually had the best sports teams. It drives us crazy down here. I know we have the better city, I know the future for Calgary is much brighter than those to the north. I know that Edmonton needs Calgary much more than we need Edmonton. But yet you guys get all the championships. You have no idea how much that ****es everyone off down here.
So this year we get our chance to ram it down your throats the way we usually have to have it rammed down ours.
Enjoy..
:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

BTW. where are you planning on watching all the Playoff games at? I think you should try and make a trip down this way. (South)

Gee I wonder what it is about oilers fans that annoy me !!!!

LOL, I refer to how some fans have to bash Edmonton regardless of what they do, we could win 5/6 and a Flamer would harp on how bad our goalie looked in the one loss.....

Jamie of course you feel inferior when you cheer for inferior teams. We pull out our history of the Eskies and Oilers and for that matter all our championships from university sports as well because we CAN. As for the playoffs your not in YET.....

Guys Guys Guys, Calgary has a decent shot at catching up with 7th and 6th place San Jose and Minnesota.

They are only 4 points back of both these spots (they're tied)
Calgary, Colorado, and San Jose Still have 5 GR, while Minnesota only has 4.

I think if Calgary keeps playing the way they do they could very well finish 6th or 7th, and at the least 8th. I'd rather see them play Anaheim or Vancouver instead of Detroit, but, you saw what happened in 04.

As long as they make the playoffs I'm happy, but It Would be great if they could move up a little.

NASHVILLE -- LOSS
CHICAGO---WIN
MIN-- ot LOSS
MIN--LOSS(minny needs to secure a spot)
VAN--- LOSS (they've OWNED you this year)
COL---LOSS
SJ---LOSS (MY PICK FOR THE WEST)
EDM--WIN (would love if the OIL won this)
COL--WIN (too little too late)non's predictions....

Remember who said this.......lmao :eek :eek :eek :eek

The Coilers are the biggest embarassment in the NHL in the last who knows how many years. They are going to finish the season with 1 win in there last 20 games. You guys are not going to see the playoff's for years so you may as well cheer for Alberta's only NHL team.:rolleyes

:rollin lol Brown what you seem to know about hockey history would barely fill a gnats *****. We went to the SC last year remember, we have one a Stanley in more recent memory than the ONE you guys won, we hold the record for the most people at a NHL game, we have some of the most talented up 'encomers in our organization and with the salary cap rebuilding doesn't take years it can be done in short order....at least I have the cahones to make predictions....here's another IF Flamers make the playoffs ----first round fodder for anyone who plays 'em JUST LIKE THE STAMPS....

A seven year old boy was at the centre of an Edmonton courtroom drama friday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have costody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded costody to his aunt, in keeping with the child costody law and regulations requiring that the family unity be maintained to the degree possible.
The boy surprized the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her, When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the boy remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the apparently unprecedented step of recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary costody to the Edmonton Oilers, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

I'm not even a flames fan and i'm enjoying there downfall. Had to listen to them till they lost in Carolina last year, still laughing. Listening to the Calgary radio station at work made it better. Heres a link if anyone wants a good laugh (not reccomended for Edmontonians or Oiler fans, they should check out www.flamessuck.com :lol :lol :lol )
