Ya it's on Sportsnet an I'm loving every minute of it. Gonna be a long long 48 game season for the ol Flamers. Why does that warm my heart? Love that Flamer fans actually believe they are a playoff team. If Curtis Glencross is on your first line...you're not good!

Are you high? Just about every oiler fan I know whines and wishes Glencross was still in an oilers jersey.

Not this Oilers fan, he wasnt a good fourth liner in my opinion. I guess we coulda kept him around to help Joey wash equipment but that's about it. Use your first overall pick this summer wisely.

Funny how every Oilers fan thinks for some unknown reason that the oilers will be good this year. What did they do to change? Add Schultz and that's going to win them the cup? Quite conceivable that it will be them with the number 1 yet again for how many in a row? Ya that's right 4.

We were the better team in the 1st and 3rd period. A bad 5 mins in the 2nd cost us. I'm not worried, we bring the same intensity to everygame and we are going to the playoffs.

PS- the Patriots are loosing and pretty boy Brady probably can't bring them back. Makes up for the Flames loss.

Canucks - 1 Oilers - 0 after the first. Oilers are playing really well though. The RNH - Hall - Eberle line plays keep away with the puck almost everytime they're on. Yakabov looks good with a couple of shots on net. Good game so far IMO.

Oilers are going to be exciting to watch this year.No reason they shouldn't make the playoffs. There speed is going to give a lot of teams trouble.

No reason other than their 3 and 4 lines suck. And their bottom 2 d pairings are sub par at best. And Dubnyk is unproven as starter.

I do agree that they will be exciting to watch.

They will be just as exciting to watch this year as the prior 4 seasons. I end up watching the first 5 minutes and either switching to curling or bowling.

The Oilers have to win it all within the next 2-3 years, they won't be able to afford all of their #1 Picks come free agency haha

Was nice to watch the nucks lose two in a row.

Was hoping the flames could beat the sharks. Ah well.

Been a fan for 30+ years and every year I believe they can!! It's part of being a fan... A loyal one. Always have been and always will be my team. And this year just like every one past I think they will win it all.
