Default Canadian Tire money

i was surfin some sites today and it was mentioned that a liquor store in West Edmonton will take CT money for booze sales. Up to a max of $50.00 per visit. No address was given. It was also stated they were staying a step ahead of the competion by doing this.

Canadian Tire money is printed on the same type of paper as real money. I am not 100% sure, but it may even be printed at the mint? Cnd Tire has gas bars here in NS. does Cnd Tire have them in the west as well? there used to be a local garage here that would take the money for anything... including repair work, coffee etc. i seem to remember reading something about Cnd Tire "money" and that CT had to stop calling it "money" and start calling it cupons. regardless. i always stuff mine in the charity box on the way out.... that only presents a problem when you have to take something back and they ask for thier cupons back....
