Default Thank You Tirebob

I was looking for some tire for my car , and was finding the local companies trying to gouge me pretty hard (does no one shop around anymore?) I looked online and found some for reasonable price. I made a thread on AO about tires looking for insite . TireBoB offered to look into what I wanted while on vacation.
We chatted about my opinions etc , Bob went above and beyond normal levels of service. Even helped me save some $$$ by waiting to purchase so I could get a rebate from the manufacturer.

I've dealt with a lot of the tire places in Red Deer
To me it's worth the drive to Calgary to deal with Bob

Thanks Bob

Who said it was a Audi?
Maybe I'm putting cool rims on a Civic

I told Bob it would probably be about 3000km before I install them, but I got home a put them beside the car and couldn't wait . They went on and are so nice
Going to put the old ones back on till I get the rest of my brake kit I ordered

It's in the shop today getting some preventive maintenance done
I'll take a pic tonight when I get it back

He is definitely a great guy to deal with. I went to him when I lived in Calgary, always got great service and fair pricing. Now that I am in Edmonton it is a bit far.

Hey I really appreciated he shot at your business Tony! I am super happy it all worked out for you. I try my best all the time. I am far from perfect of course, but I stand by what I do and it means a lot to me when people are happy with what I do for them rather than just being cheap!

Thanks again man!

Very nice ride! I sure like the German cars, they have a certain refinement and driving characteristics that I haven't found in any domestics, or japanese cars for that matter. Those wheels look great on it.

Thanks, I love the 5 and agreed the Germans make great cars, thing drive like it's on rails , plan on supercharging in the future, But there is a big list to be done before it can go on.

I'd like it to do 10-11 sec quarters

I've never owned or lifted any of my trucks , not even a leveling kit
After using lots of Dodges for work, I'd never own one , or anything close to it, Jeep, Benz whatever

Ford Ecoboost has been the last two trucks,

As for the windows , they had to be tinted , to many girls chasing after me
This car is 0-10 panties drops per sec

That would be very quick! I've been playing with the idea of putting turbo(s) on my '09 Cayman, but quite frankly it drives so nice, and already has more power than a person can legally use....and it costs a small fortune to 'upgrade' those cars. Much cheaper than buying a new Cayman S, mind you....

And this thread is pretty derailed now....

I'm pretty sure your Cayman would leave this car in your dust.
I didn't pick the best or easiest to tune Audi , but I love the lines of this car.
And I picked the N/A V8 for the sound , the already supercharged v6 is a lot easier to get power for a lot less $$$ but I've never heard a V6 sound like a V8

The Cayman is quick, because it is light at 3000 lbs curb more or less. 265 HP isn't a huge amount of power, but it sounds so good coming out of that flat 6 at 7400 RPM! As to being that much quicker than your Audi, probably not as much as all that. And besides, the great thing about the german cars is the drive, if all a person wanted was raw horsepower there are domestic muscle cars that can do that for you.....And the Audi 5 of yours does have great lines I agree.
