Default SPFGA Archery Work Party April 8

It's time to put the 3D targets back out again! Work party starts at 9AM Saturday April 8. Free hot dogs, pop, water and brownies for lunch break. Bring work gloves and if you have; pruning shears, ballpean hammer, crescent wrench, and your bow. We will definitely be trying out the range after setup.

Target provincials that same day, or I would be in for sure.

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate. Please try to come out and help even if you can only spare an hour or two!

The SPFGA has purchased 4 new large block targets to replace the tentest on 4 of the target butts. These are part of the work party next Saturday. Trails look really good with not too much brush clearing to do; just extensions to a couple of shooting lanes. Free lunch and new course to shoot after? It's gonna be a good day!!!

Send us a pm is you are able to attend. We need to know lunch numbers. If we don't have enough volunteers, we won't be putting out the 3D targets.

REALLY need some help on Saturday!! Archery director has injured his back but will still be out there. Looks doubtful at this point that we will be able to put out the 3D targets without more help.

I should be able to make it, I have an ATV and tub trailer if that would help get targets down the trail and deadfall out.

Thanks for the offer but we have a Gator to get the targets to the head of each shooting lane. Not near so much brush clearing to do as last year so we hope to be shooting the 3D targets right after lunch. Don't forget to bring your bow.

Work party was a success and we were finished by 11AM. Thanks to the 21 members that showed up. Block targets are in place in yardage target butts and the 3D course is up. Thanks again to those that showed up to help
