And yes I realize its two games in and Calgary is probably a better team than we have seen but it still amuses me .... Wonder where Corporal Calgary and the rest of the AO Flamers are?

Just think, if not even one person showed up at their games , they wouldnt be millionaires fighting over money.

Flames looked pretty good last night.

They ran out of time in the 3rd I think they would have had it if they'd got their momentum up right from the start of the 3rd.

But they didn't and Getzlaf was money for my fantasy team!

Canuck fan here. Just saw this thread so I thought I'd better sound off for my nuckleheads. Let y'all know that we are not silenced. Sure Edmonton beat us, a 3-2 shootout. Gotta give those young guns credit they played well and fast. Eberle did an end run on Vancouvers reputed best defenceman 3 times in that game, scoring on one of them, well done Eberle. However I have faith in Edler, he will wake up. All in all not a great game to watch, but I'll let the season get rolling before I get too upset.

Of course 7-3 shellacking in the season opener with a fresh 4.something million goalie getting pulled in his starting debut did anything but silence me. It was very noisy in my house on Saturday. Good thing there were no little kids around. But again it is early, though early ends early this year, I have faith the Canucks will get their stride and be one of the top teams in their division once again. I also have great hopes for Edmonton, the talent on that team is going to be fun to watch.

Go Canucks!!!

You probably laughed when Patty Roy was lit up for 7 in Montreal to, assuming he was done because of a few bad games.

I understand you E-town folk have to get your jabs in before the season kicks into full gear and the Oilers fall by the way side as per usual and the Flames contend for a playoff spot.

Kipper's looked pretty darn shakey in the first two games. I'd say he's still the best goalie in the conference, but those two outings were not good. The Flames are incapable of scoring 5 or 6 a game so he's got to stop more. I'm sure he will though... and this from an Oiler fan.

There are brothels in Nevada that see less rubber than the net behind Kipper!

My Habs let me down huge, losing to the Leafs. One more game like that and my hockey watching days will be over for this season.

Go Canucks!!!
stay classy man, homers suck. True fans of the game recognize talent in their opponents and when their own team's lacking. I'm a leafs fan but give the devils their due, some of those hab boys know how to play.

I bleed Red and Boumeester is the WORST Defenseman I have ever seen.

The day he leaves we will be better off. Doesnt throw hits or punches, I have seen logs play better defense. He is a more femine version of Dion Phaneuf, Just as big a waste of time to!!

Wow is all I can say. A complete break down on all levels. Sharks look good, making all passes, sharp and crisp.

This is awesome. Watching the Oilers sure is exciting. Its not everyday you see a team score a touchdown in the first period.
