Default Dear shooting edge...

To the Shooting Edge in Calgary..
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOUR STORE AGAIN..EVER!!!!
It's because of your decision to attempt to screw over The Shooting Centre. You are the reason this prohib Swiss Arms situation has come to light. YOU sent a converted semi-auto ( SWISS ARMS) to the RCMP for examination and started this whole unfortunate mess. Everyone can thank The Shooting edge for this one...Thanks JR..If anyone wants to look further into this..be my guest.

regards,

ONE ****ED OFF FIREARMS OWNER...

How about an explanation as to what occurred instead of leaving everyone guessing and having rumours start? The truth and the facts are all that anyone should be concerned with.

Yes and no. It was going to happen eventually (a gun grab). I would suggest this may be the spark needed get things turned around while we still have a conservative fed govt, and hopefully to leash the queens jackboots. We're all getting pretty tired of weekly power abuses. Time to step up and put some real pressure on those who's job it is to SERVE, not dictate.

Oh ya since when does a police force get to make up laws???

I saw the video, Lee, but I did not hear him say anything about handing the rifle in to the RCMP in an attempt to screw over The Shooting Centre. I don't dispute the fact that he handed the rifle in, I'm questioning the legitimacy of commenting on his motives for doing it. One person speculates on something, then another person repeats it, and before you know it everyone is repeating it as if it were fact. That's how rumours work and I'd like to know the facts before repeating something like that.

I don't know the fella but I hate to see someone get euchred by rumours.

After reading the thread and watching the video, I'd say I'm impressed by Jr and his character. While he won't likely see money from me as a client due to his location, I hope his business isn't ruined by this. I can only assume the turned over gun must have been illegally modified to cause this ruckus....if that is true I hope the store is held accountable

HUNTERDAVE,

I am not in the nature to typically bad mouth someone. HOWEVER..there is more to the story then the youtube video.. two rifles had been sent, one from the Shooting Centre one from the shooting edge..both had been sent in by an employee at the Shooting Edge. ( only one had been converted ) There is bad blood between those stores.. just some added facts..the motive mentioned in the youtube video are "creative at best". Everyone is entitled to their own choices and opinions..I just wanted to go on record and say that I will never buy anything from that store again. My choice..

regards,

I think(hope) people would assume there is a rivalry between the two....i don't know any back story, but they are competitors. If one gun was illegal then they did the damage, while it is a tattle tail move....they Are guns !!

Sounds like a passive-aggressive 13-year-old girl (not to insult 13-year-old girls).

TSE tried to get their competition in crap. In return they screwed us all (even those without SA guns). Anyone who gives them one more dime is a Quisling.

They didn't hang us but they gave the RCMP the rope.

Nice video. Too bad it is all damage control that doesn't match the actual narrative of the story.

This is unfortunate, we must all stand united or our gun rights WILL be lost...

^^^This is a very interesting (and long) read that details a lot of what happened and how it happened^^^

Although it is written from the perspective of the CSC, it is filled with facts and it sounds very credible to me.

Thank you for posting this Chewbacca!

Thanks for the post.....i recant what I said before...this seems to be a stupid marketing ploy that cost him and alot of other people their rights. .....he should be on the line for legal fees and make a public apology

I don't see what leg the rcmp has to stand on to do this reg change??

It's a dam shame. I used to like TSE but they have a ways to go before I'll spend any money there again.

What is done can not be undone. It's a good lesson for everyone to see that a pizzing match doesn't usually have any winners, only losers. Common sense and decency shouldn't be ignored.
