Its anecdotal. Mechanics, salesmen, owners, etc, etc.

You might find this interesting. And this was a fairly early version, they have learned a lot since then.

I'm a bit skeptical... Love my Tunrda, but I don't know if they are as bulletproof as those of yesteryear.
I'm a little surprised at the issues I'm having with mine, really. Expected better for the price premium...
When it comes time to replace it, I will likely be looking across all the brands again.

I had my 2007 for 12 years, I changed the battery and brakes , as well as tires and oils and filters.

Yup, that’s the kind of testimonial that won me over.
Still a solid truck. I don’t spend near as much time fixing it as I did my Fords.

Sounds like my 01 F150. 2 batteries 1 set of brakes 1 set of shocks and a couple windshields. It ain’t pretty but at 207000+ miles I’d have no issues getting in it tonight and driving cross country tonight.

I am hoping my 2021 F150 is as reliable, my previous two Fords were lemons.

Hope you have the same fortune we've had. They are all different, but we've got five F150 XLTs at work, all quad cab, 4x4, with the 2.7L, 3.5L, and 5L. I believe all five have over 200,000 km and think, between the five, we've had one in the shop. Front passenger speaker ripped and can't remember what it was, was mechanical, maybe the thermostat went, was fairly minor whatever it was though.
We don't tow anything, and they're mainly going up and down the highway, but I've been thrilled with their performance.

I had a 2013 for about 5 years and same thing. Never had to fix a single thing on it. All i ever did was regular service. I had an FJ cruiser same thing and also a 4 Runner. Things were tanks. I hope the new Tundra will be more of the same.

Deposit
I put a deposit on a Tundra Platinum. I am supposed to get it by the end of January. I aint gonna lie it was more than I was hoping to spend. They have upped the price over the previous models. Still under 100K all in including taxes. I looked at a new Denali and that was over 100K.
Just hoping I am not making a huge mistake on buying one of the first ones off the line.
PS Selling my 2009 GMC 2500 Duramax SLT if anyone is interested.
