Default horseshoe lake

I would also be interested if anyone has been out to horseshoe lake, or any other lake in the area. I can imagine the ice is at least 5" or 6" by today. 3 days of -25 should do that.

I went out with a buddy and we were trying to catch a few smaller trout for the smoker, danged if a 24.5" didnt take the bait.....what a blast. Then the next one was almost as big and measured 23".......the only thing handy to measue or to put there so you could tell the size of them was these 4 full beer cans and one empty one in a line. We ended up catching about 20lbs of fish all together with the bunch of smaller ones. I filled the smoker and have been inandated with requests for samples.
I only have a small bit left.
There maybe more that are bigger but at least I have proof of these and I didnt want to post until I could get help adding them to the thread in picture form....(im not puter savvy)

Thanks BBJ for the help posting the pics.

Dont think of those as beer cans.....rather that they are units of measurment designed to give accurate measurments and help focus the camera and provide a perspective of equal length. (whew I nearly typed that with a strait face) lol
