Smile Any melted lakes by may 13/15

I am very new to fishing/boating so im sorry if i ask silly questions.
Its my bday may 13th and I was hoping to take my boat out to some lake near calgary preferably Barrier lake.
So if anyone could point out any lakes in that area that will melt by then?
I went to Barrier lake today and it still had ice all around, the ice was broken and seemed like it could melt away soon but the thick snow around the lake tells another story.
Please note that catching fish is not my priority. I just want to get my inflatable out in the water

I drove past Barrier today on my way to work and it is almost free of ice. Last night it was still frozen by the dam so the ice is melting very fast and most likely will be fine for Monday.
