Default Alberta Summer games

I've never shot at any type of competition before, but my son (12) is really interested in trying out for the summer games in archery.

He's shooting a compound at about 35lbs, with a 3 pin sight, 6" stabilizer and a TruBall hands held release. It looks like he will be in the Pre-Cub Compound category shooting 30 yds max.

I'll be shooting a compound, at 65lbs, single pin slider type sight, release, 12" stabilizer. I think I'm in the Senior Mens Compound category 50 yds max.

My questions are this;
1. Is our equipment breaking any rules for our divisions?
2. Is there any draw weight restrictions or arrow speed restrictions?
3. Can I use my slider sight and adjust it on the course, or do I need to have it locked at a fixed distance? Would I be better to get a multi-pin sight?
4. Can we both shoot in the same group with him just shooting from a different peg or is he going to be broke into a group with kids in the same category?
5. Are binoculars allowed and what power?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks for any responses. I'm not getting any response on bowzone , so I thought to try here.
