Default Newbie Help

I recently purchased a Mountain Brook 56 and 9 combo and about a 100 different flies off a fellow Alberta outdoorsmen user. I'm wondering were to start? I've fished catfish on the red, salmon on both coasts and Deep sea fished in Mexico. So I would love to learn Fly Fishing. If you can give me any advice that would be great.
Thanks again

Hey Drock thanks I've been Watching youtube video's. The gear wasn't very costly, figured it was fairly cheap to start. I love fishing just bail in a go for it.
Thanks again

Go and practice at either Hermitage Pond in NE Edmonton or Vegreville Pond when ice is off, lots of open area, decent rainbows to practice on and have fun!

Hey Grinr I fished the Miramichi with a friend of mine who was a guide we tossed out fly lines and trolled back and forth up the river. I used a fly rod but we didn't do a whole lot of (casting) We caught alot of males, when I got on a female she jumped about ten feet out of the water and broke the line cause I put my hand on the reel to slow her down.(Rookie Mistake) Truly awesome place it was spring and the river was high.
So Grinr I have sorta fly fished but not a whole lot of 10 and 2
thanks
Just wanting some pointers.
If a guy ever needs help catching cranker cats I can help, but Fly fishing I know nothing about.
