Is this your first APA bow and have you tried the Nano? The reason I ask is I'm thinking of getting one but there is virtually no online info about them out there.

Yeah Jim let me shoot one the other day. It was pretty nice but I was just doing some more research before buying a new bow.

definatly send up a review. I have always wanted a apa but my fatherinlaw is a die hard Mathews fan and when I was looking at getting into compound bow hunting(I have always shot recurve) he bought me a Mathews MR5 Monster so a mathews is what I shoot but if I am buying a bow for myself it will be a apa of some sort.

Will be looking toward the review also...was lucky enough to shoot the whole 2013 line and was very impressed...although I am/was a die hard Mathews fan also my back up bow is an APA...If I didnt have my Mathews it would be absoulutely APA all the way...

In fact the way the states is going with their economy and all the hassles...APA is the way to go as its Canadian and are made in Bigger Sask. a super quaility bow right here in western Canada...and great people to work with.

I picked up my first APA last spring from pipestone. I went with the Viper V7 really happy with the bow. Ill be taking it back into pipestone this winter for some annual tune ups. I put a lot of arrows down range this last year with it! You won't be disappointed!

If your planning on hunting with your APA I would not be looking at the King Cobra. I owned one for a few weeks before taking it back. This bow is very difficult to shoot if you are not in the perfect stance. They would be awesome for 3D, but if your planning on using your APA for hunting I would say look at the Viper or the Mamba. I love my Viper V7. Good Luck

I believe that APA has dropped the King Cobra from the line up and have replaced it with the M5. I have not shot the M5, but have heard nothing but good reviews from those that have. I have shot the M6 and most of the new lineup and they are all very nice bows. Could everybody please tell my wife you need to buy a new bow every two years so I can try one of the 2013 lineup.

Yes the King Cobra has been upgraded into the Mamba M5. It is specifically designed for the short draw archer and it is being rated at 348fps @ 28" draw.
Myself I am shooting the Mamba M6 and I just love it.I ordered it in the new Snakeskin Stealth cammo pattern and man did that turn out sharp, can't wait to christen it with some yotes I will post some pics soon

Ok she is all done!
Cdx drop away rest:
G5 optics site 5 pin:
NAP apache 5" stab
Well I went to site it in today and all I can say is it ever smooth and very fast! There was a 50-60 kmh wind today at the range an at 20 yds it was hitting a little to the right but centre that's with the blowing wind!
I think I might get lucky and get my 20, 30 as one pin, gunna do more testing on it I think she will do it
Silky smooth draw, whisper quiet and not to heavy compared to my old bow, this thing will b a breaze to bring in the bush
Seemed to be a breaze to tune and bang on! O fetching contact, I am shooting carbon express blue streak select arrows with wraps and blazers. Finished arrow weight is 358 gr, and pumping out a pretty guud amount of kinetic energy of 73lbs
Will tell u more next time I don't shoot in the wind lol

well its all sighted in! moved the rest to the left and the string and arrow line up perfect with the sight pins when looking back from the string!
one pin out to 30yds and still hitting dead center, gunna try the 40yd bag with the 20pin i think i might only need 1 pin out to 40yds, damn is this thing fast
