Default Had An Intervention With Canis Lupus...

My girlfriend and I were hunting moose and elk along the Peace River, and were watching a cow and calf moose along the river. Suddenly they bolt out into the river, the cow had her head down, ears back. We knew something was up, as she paid no attention to us. Moments later this guy appeared....

This intervention brought to you by a .280 Ackley Improved...

Wow! So many board members are connecting on wolves this year, and we haven't even gotten into the General Season yet.

Nice job!

I didn't really wanna say anything, but that was wolf #6 in the last few years. For the longest time I wanted a wolf more than anything else out there. After I got my first one, it seems I have managed to luck out being in the right place, at the right time, once or twice a year, every year since then....

I just wish I could figure out how to post pictures without everyone having to clicking on a link. I tried the photobucket thing, but still can't get the URL method figured out...

Sounds like the story of my Life. 30 plus years without a sighting and now I'm working on No. 5, in the last 6. Looking for a white one now.

Just copy and past the IMG code. Don't use the "manage attachments".

Nice dog by the way

I hear ya...White's the only color left for me too... Sad thing is I missed a white one (long shot) 2 years ago only a couple miles from where I shot this one...

This was my first one...

I took this black last year...
