Default Cable Slide?

I've got my 2011 Bowtech Assassin in for new cables and strings, and a few other fun upgrades, and I've done a bit of digging online. It seems that the excessive cable wear might have been caused by a slightly crappy factory cable slide. Does anyone have experience with this sort of problem, and if so what slide would you recommend (and is it available at Jim Bow's )?
