I buy a buy a bow in Montana and drive it across the border?

I believe what he was trying to ask is: Is it alright to buy a bow and then bring it across the border into Canada? Or are there any issues that may arise?

At least that's what I got out of it.

I agree with MKD, it would be a pain to mail/ship and costs way more..cheaper to claim it and have it in hand...

You can have it shipped USPS and it will cost you about $25 and there is no issues. I am assuming the bow was made in the US. Don't use a courier because they will charge exhorbitant brokerage fees.
