Default Gunsmiths and insurance work

Good Morning! Does anyone have any knowledge of, or experience with gunsmiths that do insurance/salvage work? I have long guns that have heat and/or smoke damage and my insurance requires a licensed gunsmith to either repair them or deem them not repairable. Any references or advice would be greatly appreciated!

It would be helpful to indicate where you live.
