Default Day 1

Breaking up with my old friend Copenhagen. We had a lot of great times together but it's time to turn a new page.
So far 27 hours into it and haven't slipped yet. Thinking about getting some Smokey Mountain for my rebound relationship.

Hardest part so far is not getting grouchy.

Quitin' cope is harder than quitin' smokin'. I've done both and the patch helped a bunch

Good luck with that.

Going on 23 years for me. Been doing it so long I don't know how to not do it. Already got all my fingernails chewed right down.

I used Copenhagen to wean myself off of cigarettes.

I must confess the smell of both brings back those horrible days of addiction.
And for some reason that 5 watt bulb between my ears keeps telling me I would like to try "just one" for old times.

No way.

Its been just about 5 yrs for me , and i still wanna put a dip in every time i smell it, but the urge passes fast. It can be done and alter the first week youll be surprised how easy it was. Besides $20 bucks a day into your hunting account makes for a good reason to stay quit. Good luck

That's another question I had. How long until you were over the hump? The first 24 hours, a week, a month?
It was pretty tough waking up this morning and not filling the lip with tobaccoie goodness.

Try used coffee grounds

Fresh every morning, and provide a nice zip in your lip.

All kidding aside Shaggy, keep it up man. Once you are done with it, you will never look back and as previously mentioned the extra cash will be handy.

It's hard to cope with no cope.

It gets easier every day. I quit smokes and cope cold turkey. About ten years now and the smell of cigs sometimes really bugs me. I won't ever start again.

Put the cash in a sock and buy a new gun or ??? Wait a couple years and it will pay for an Africa trip.

Hang in. the craving only lasts a minute or two. Find semething else to do in that time.

If you substitute something for the cope you may end up trting to kick a new addiction.

Lots of fluids and lots of rest.

congrats after thirty years smoking, chewing when I couldn't smoke I finally quit one month ago on Thurs
It sux to quit I hate it My 5 watt bulb Screams at me just one more but every 24 hours without is another notch for me , a moment of human pride
Having your family behind you helps Having one of them refuse to help by smoking out side just makes you mad and more resolved
That would be my advice if you feel real tempted get P-ssed off you've got the power not the addiction
My two pennies good luck and quit staring at the clock
