One time it's 10', the next is 20' and the next is 15'. It seems to change for me. Once I find where they're biting on any given day that's where I park myself.

I guess what I'm saying is..........I have absolutely no idea......lol!

You are still catching perch at sylvan? I haven't seen any in years, walleye seem to have taken most of them out, could possibly where I am fishing for them though.

10" off the bottom or thick weeds, regardless of depth.

Never targeted them suspended, also have no flasher.

I like whatever the depth the perch are at. each lake is different, and it can change with the time of day.

I do however stay above about the 30' mark. If they are deeper than that, they can stay there. I am not a big fan of watching a little perch with a full air bladder filling its mouth floating in my hole waiting to die.

My favorite is 1 foot or less, despite it rarely happening. Set the hook at send them into orbit.

That's interesting, I've never seen a fish puke out it's air bladder.

Fishing perch in deep water (over 30') it will happen. You can puncture it to allow them to swim down again, but I am not sure what that will mean for their future health.

On average most times, 14fow + or - 5 ft. Drill holes from 8' to 20' and see which ones are producing. Then plop yourself down.
