The reason there's no draw for mule deer buck in 356, is likely becaue there are very few, if any, in that unit. I don't think I've ever seen a mulie in 356. Even the furthest south I've seen them in 357, is still plenty far north of where it turns into 356.

If you want to hunt mule deer with your general tag, PM me and I can tell you about a few areas...

not meaning to start an agrument here but there are plenty of mule deer in 356. I have shot lots out of that zone, if there was very few i dont think you would be allowed just a general tag. Roughneck, just start coming south a little further and get on some of the old logging roads, you will find the country they like being in and shouldn't have any trouble finding them.

Default They're there

We've definitely seen mulies in 356. Although there are some nice big ones around, they might be harder to find than in the farmland. Usually see them further south and west in the zone. They can be hard to see in the fresh cutblocks, not sure why nature created them to blend into a scarified cut-block? Good luck in your hunt.

yes it's still 356 until the 16th baseline, and from there up and on the trunk road, trust me there is plenty of mule deer in 356.

Sure there are usually plenty of mule deer in 356. This year the numbers might be down, but there will be some. It is a tough hunt with a low success rate if you are fussy but they sure enough are there.
