Yeah, check out the new lightweight Bantam version of this quiver. I have the Octane 2 piece with the magnetic hood. This quiver is fantastic , though it is heavy, and works very well with the Shuttle T Lock broadheads that I shoot. I suspect the magnets might not work so well with alloy ferrule heads that would rely solely on the blades for that magnetic attraction required to center the heads. (Though I've never tried another head in this quiver). The Bantam weight does not have the magnetic hood, saving weight. Either one would be a great quiver.

Price and weight were the bad things I heard about octane. I presonally use the 1 piece soft loc by alpine, no complaints. I use both mechanical and fixed blades without any problems.

Didn't want to sound like I was complaining about Octane. In fact, I'll stand behind a recommendation for any of their products. Just that some people think lighter is the way to go, I'm passing on what I've experienced. If you want to lighten the magnetic Octane quivers, they come with an optional foam rubber insert that replaces the magnetic insert. As far as price,.... you get what you pay for!

I will be switching up my quiver this summer as well. I did a lot of research on it both online and in store. I will be getting the Alpine soft lock hands down.
Lighter, no vibration noise, easy removal, but stays on solidly. The Octane looked good, but the Alpine looked better.

Just my $0.02 + tax.
