Default Ghost lake church

just wondering if anyone knows if the mcdougall church is actually by the lake or is it on the river, also are you allowed to fish behind it or is there special permission needed from the natives, assuming that it is native land( not sure)tia

Whoops, hit the button a little fast there I guess.

Last time I was there, there was an fishermens access gate at the back, the kind you can squeeze through, but cattle can't.

At that time I didn't see any signs restricting access to fishermen. Once through the gate, you can head down to the lake/river.

Saw lots of ice fishermen there this winter with tents, and quite a few vehicles parked at the church. So I assume they were able to walk down with their sleds.
