270 wsm best bullet
I am looking for opinions on what is the best all around bullet for the 270 wsm. I like the 130, interbond and accubond. They have always worked well for me, but I am open to sugestions. There are so many new bullets out there it is hard to know whats best.Tell me about your results and opinions Thanx in advance. spurly

Best load we ever used in the .270 Win was a 130 gr pushed with IMR4350 to about 3000 fps or so. The WSM version is probably the best of the WSM's, IMHO, and probably the best weight for it will always be a 140 gr. There are so many good bullets out there right now it's up to what you hunt. If I had one, and needed one bullet for everything, I'd probably load either a Nosler Partition or an Accubond, maybe a GameKing. Bullets don't need to be expensive to be accurate or devastating to the receiver. You'll hear all about all kinds of choices, TSX's will be right up there and they're very good, but they're unnecessarily expensive. Shoot what's accurate in your rifle with a bullet designed for the game you're after, and know the ballistics. One shot one kill is still what we want!

I've been shooting 130 gr TSXs out of my 270 WSM. I've also tried the 140 AccuBonds from Nosler, but found the TSX bullets shot a little better out of my particular rifle. I'm not sure if there is a best "all round" bullet for the 270 WSM, but I think any bullet designed for magnum velocity should do well. I've been really impressed with the performance on game from the TSX bullets. Then again, if what you're shooting is working for you, why change?

My one load do it all for the 270WSM was the 140gr Accubond. Could get it up to typical 130 speeds no problem, was accurate and performed very well on the animals it hit.

I myself decide upon a bullet choice based on a single criteria. .....That being does it shoot well in my rifle.
Bullet constuction for the most part falls into the #2 slot.
FWIW I am running 130 Accubonds in my 270WSM, 3325fps no problem, with a book max of IMR 4831.

My 270WSM shoots plain 'ol Hornady 140gr Interlocks like a darn. It seems to prefer them over the 130gr Interbonds. When I run out of them, I'd like to try something by Sierra, maybe even pick up some Bergers when in Montana.

I'm looking at the Hornady 150 grain SST Interlock, a boat tail bullet with a BC of .525 for my .270 Rem. Anyone try these?

A buddy and I loaded up some 130 gr tipped tripleshocks last night. I'll let you know how they work out.

270wsm
I use 140gr Accubonds for my reloads. Great accurancy at the range (0.217" 5 shot group @ 100m) and exceptional performance on big game. Too bad the 150gr XP3 bullet wasnt available to reload with.
Had some 140gr TSX but the performance of the AB's I traded all my TSX's for more AB's
