I understand weatherby rifles used to have or still do have more free bore than other rifles. Can anyone tell me if older husqvarna's do as well. I only have loaded for one, a 30-06 and the bullet needs to be a long way out there to approach the lands. Didn't shoot that well until I did this. Groups went from 1 3/4 to about .8.
What is the easiest way to measure how far a bullet is off the lands. I have used a blank bullet in the past, was wondering what other people used.
