Default Cam changes?

Will cam design and let off affect accuracy?
Am I able to swap cams from different bows as long as they have the same draw weight?

What bow?

What cams?

Cams are instrumental in draw cycle and let off..,

Older pse brute. 31"draw. I'm not sure what cam I'd have to go to, but the factory cams aren't made anymore. Would it be possible to use the new cam setup for a similar pse?

ask PSE if you can use the newer cams .... otherwise it will be a be pain to try make something work, string and cable lengths will be custom and hard to determine unless you find some one that has already did something like this to that bow

i think im going to try copy the plate that was damaged. redrill all teh holes and tap them. lots of file work on the outside of the cam though to get it to be safe though. im up for a challange. if it doesnt work than at least its a learning experience.

Default franken bow

John Dudley talks about this in one of his podcasts, I think somewhere in podcasts 47-50. Basically states its a tonne of work and it would be impossible to tune well plus the need the for custom strings and cables makes it way to hard to do well.

But like the previous post stated PSE would be the best to talk to as they may have a similar cam that will work.

good luck
