Default First fish!

Took my little girl out to lac Ste Anne today. It only took a whole package of strawberry marshmallows but she stayed entertained for 4 hours. I also didn't think the princess Elsa fishing rod would bring success either. Hopefully this has sparked a love for the outdoors!

Awesome pictures look at the smiles. When that rod gives out upgrade her to a ice fishing rod on the longer end they make great jigging rods for kids.

When I read your post and saw the walleye I thought,

"Pink marshmallows are an interesting bait for walleye, but if they were biting for 4 hours, great!"

Congrats on creating great memories for your daughter.

Great to see the children out.

She reminds me a lot of my little girl when she was small. Thank goodness that Mickey Mouse rods float!, she caught a fish, and literally fired that poor rod into the water with both hands like it had been shot out of a bow. When she was small she was content with just a red and white bobber, and don't you think she got strikes on the bobber? Fishing with kids is just the best fishing you can have. My suggestion if you don't already, is just run the video camera on the kids for long stretches, you can always edit later. Thanks for sharing.
