Do you really think that natives will be able to come and go as they please, whenever they want, on a military base ,just because they allow a very closely monitored, limited season?

Default Priority

I knew this was coming and saved my priority for 7 yrs so for those who didn't prepare for the future. Better luck next year.

The question that I have is that I've read the Bases rules & you have to turn in head when exiting. What about the antlers and cape ? Can I cape it and remove the antlers prior to leaving ?

I sure not going to be worth it if I can't keep the Antlers & Cape.

Its all voluntary, you can take it to a taxidermist first. They have tested over a 1000 head so far from the base and all have tested negative!

Sorry to hear. Remember though that it is a cull hunt, although it was done horribly wrong. hunt harder than the next guy and hopefully you will be rewarded and share the experience with us. Good Luck!!!

It should come as no surprise the natives arrived to participate in this hunt, they have in the past and they will in the future.

In fact, they were sent letters of invitation last year.

It's a well known fact that many First Nation communities were invited to participate (as they were last year), so it shouldn't come as a surprise to those of us who did our research and applied for the hunt.

I got drawn on one year priority, so I'm a happy camper!

Your kidding! You mean there are Natives in Alberta? Where in the hell did they come from and who let them in? This is crazy... totally unfair... if I knew Natives were here already I would have never came in the first place!!

No kidding.... a place called "medicine hat" with a Giant teepee in the center and some moron is surprised to see Natives.

Thank god Trudeau got elected... it's pretty obvious with statements like his that harpers education system was failing.

Who says the Indians are allowed to hunt there during these seasons? This is supposed to be for those that were drawn. Do we know for a fact that the military is letting the Indians in at the same time?

Another Internet tough guy calling people morons. Just pointing out the injustice that's so painfully obvious to every other non native Canadian that enjoys the outdoors. But of course it's your God given right to rape and pillage one of our best natural resources. Please make sure to take the largest bulls first since there best eating.

Yeah that sucks...I thought they came up with the 100 people per draw because that's how many they could safely manage...apparently not

Another low info voter.
Education is run by the provinces.
Good luck with your hunt.

When I put in for this draw I was told there would be 100 tags which means I would be hunting with 99 other people not 99 plus however many Indians want to show up. I don't care who is hunting in there but there should only be 100 allowed.
Could someone hunting in there this week tell us what the hell is really going on?

There is 400 white guys here. 100 tags and they all brought at least 4 helpers.

Just saw the tally on FN hunters... there's 43. In 15 different pick ups

I wonder why the FN hunters are coming to the block in the first place. They have done so well in only "sustain" hunting on their own reserves. lol You have nothing left sir brightness!! lol And lets clarify- There is 100 white guys aloud to shoot, whom spent 12yrs+- of priority to sit beside you, the guy who's riding with a truck load of shooters who cant even pay tax on the gas that got you there. Don't get mad at racism, and stereotypes that you have only made yourselves, and instead of correcting these images people have of you FN., you only fuel the fire. Don't try to scew the facts. YOUR TREATY IS OUT DATED AND ARE THERE UNFAIRLY. Keep up on the greed.
