Hydro Dipping Rifle Stocks

Has anyone tried this on your rifle stock? how did it turn out. I have couple Tupperware stocks want to dress up. Yes suppose to work on pretty much anything except rubber lol so don't even go there. Any info much appreciated thanks.

I’ve bought a couple dip kits of eBay and dipped some stocks, they turned pretty good.

Looks great. I see there is a place in Ont. that sells lots different film and what is needed to do. Price does not seem to bad well have to check into more. Thank you .

I had a Wildcat stock dipped by Victoria Hydrographics. It turned out good. Dipped it in KUIU Verde 2.0. Don't remember the exact cost, but it was a bit more than I was expecting. I wasn't brave enough to try a DIY kit.

At Wild cat it’s not just a dip. After dipping the stock is clear coated with an epoxy making it extremely durable

Hydro dipping is not very durable, it looks good for the first little bit but is easily scratched off.

Had Liquid Customs just finish up this one for me. Matte clear that has some shine steel wool will take care of with ease.

A buddy of mine dips his rifles, they turn out pretty slick an hold up decently

When you guys are dipping your rifles are you roughing up the stock a bit before the dip or just cleaning really well?

I have had multiple stocks done by liquid customs they are great will use them on the next one as well, I would post pics but not sure how to if your interested message me
