Edmonton based Halford’s Mail Order is seeking an individual with trapping and nuisance wildlife damage control experience to head up our ADC/Trapping Supplies Department on a full-time basis. Responsibilities would include:
•Maintaining high customer service standards by assisting customers with sales and product recommendations in-store as well by telephone, email and/or social media
•Building and maintaining customer loyalty by developing strong relationships
•Order taking and processing
•Product sourcing, analysis, pricing and ordering
•Monitor departmental stock levels and replenish as required
•In-store product displays and merchandising
•Receiving, cataloging and shipping pelts for the NAFA Fur Auction Depot
The ideal candidate will have extensive product knowledge, a genuine desire to assist or guide customers to the products best suited for their specific needs and technical knowledge based on field experience. Additional consideration will be given to potential candidates with computer experience using office-based programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.) and graphics/multimedia-based software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere etc.).
