Pretty much the same for me. I do use paper or cloth instead of plastic bags sometimes, but have no preference. Whatever is available.
If I'm packing the bag to go with a shipment of pelts I wrap the castors in paper towel before stuffing them in the bag/bags.
I use NAFA shipping tags, available free upon request. On them I estimate the weight of castor never count. I would add that I know people who ship them with no count or weight and have no problems.
