Default Crown land shooting SW of Rocky

Would anyone be able to share with me an area SW of Rocky in the Cow Lake area that a guy could go site in a rifle on crown land etc. I'll be heading down there and my friend would like help sighting in a rifle. If anyone is willing to share just pm me. Somewhere out to 2-300 yards would be great.

Thank you.

Plenty or areas, cut blocks, lease roads. Just make sure you have a safe backstop.

Don't have anywhere specific though.

Going to have to go a bit further than Cow Lake to get to crown land. Go until the road turns to gravel and find a cut block with a safe backdrop.

Think that area is popular with quadders as well, another potential hazard.

It’s been years since I’ve been up the north fork road but wasn’t there a gravel pit just across the Ram River?
