Dave booth taxidermy - opinions?
Looking to hear from people with actual experience with Jim Booth taxidermy.
We’re you happy with the results?
Happy with timeline?
Are they reliable?
Thanks

Got a mule deer done by Brody.
Got it back under a year, roughly 8-9 months.
Mount looks great.
I would bring more animals to him in the future.
Very reliable, you won’t be disappointed

I don’t know about dave booth but I wouldn’t hesitate checking out Darren and Carolyn at solitude taxidermy. Anything I’ve had done there and everything I’ve seen from them has been second to none.

Ive had about 6 mounts done by Dave and all met my expectations, and price is good!

Taxidermy is an art form as much as a science, everyone has there own ideas what works and you've got to pick accordingly. I kinda like the Artistic stuff, featured here.

If you are serious about quality, all of Brian Dobson's work that I have seen has been art, and I have seen a lot.

There are 100 that can do deer, 20 that can do sheep, 5 that can do birds. There's no hiding anything these days. Facebook is your friend.

Alex Muirhead was fantastic on birds, did a good job on deer, ...
But there was history on Alex to make a youtube channel.
Birds are tough because you are taking plumage attached to a skin that now has to look supple and natural again, after drying and shrinkage.
For some reason this is a business which sees quality control all over the place.

Quality in the taxidermy world varies wildly and price isnt the best indicator of a good shop.
Referals are everything. Dont ignore the bad stories because the price is attractive.
Brian dobson is a good guy and runs a tight ship. He will get anything I ever do again as long as hes in business.

I’m interested to hear what your problems were with sugar creek?
Everything I’ve taken there has come back top notch
I have a caribou and grizzly with Marco and I have no doubt they will be first class when they are done
