Through the Edmonton trout club, private access, or sometimes if you ask permission the people at the campground will let you access through there.

The Town of Sylvan is quite concerned about the number of shacks still on the ice & plan to start the rescue/demo process.

I believe this is Rob an A/O member ... he's on Sylvan with his dead stick, pike fishin, you may have see his big fish on the Town's website .... he's famous!

The ice on Dickson Trout Pond earlier this week was soft & mushy & not all that thick ... not sure if it's safe to walk out alone unless your wearing a survival suit.

Zip ....

Default Pigeon may be done

I WAS going to do pigeon this morning but a friend of mine reported that they got semi-stranded on johnsonia yeterday. Got on no prob, had to walk a mile to find somewhere to get off do to ice rotting at shore. Luckily they didn't drive on...I'm off to a northern trout lake instead this morning...
