He hunts big Salmon like no other I have seen. Combine that with a extremely friendly personality and he is one for the books.

Just confirmed up another group of A/O member's with tons of fishing experience.
Now this trip is going to be different. A few old clients from the board and some new faces as well. Looks like the whole lodge is gone for that week now!

Talked with the Bass Pro shop ownership grop today. Looks like we will see them again in 2013.

Local, looking forward to meeting up with you guys. Lets make it quick before we are sold out!

Black Heart. I have a real good idea where you guys were. Nice fish!
Come stay with us this summer.

Getting excited!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone want to buy a fantastic ocean fishing boat? Best boat in the market. Let me know as I am thinking of getting rid of our 24 foot Skagit Orca. Buy it and come out for free orientation weekend.

Starting the year off with the Boys and Girls club event this Febuary! Team Fishard taking kids ice fishing

And as of today a fishing trip to Cuba is booked for March 24th!

Then I'm heading to the Skeena River systems and making my way to the Great Pacific Salmon Lodge with Jamie and some well known writers! Absolutely cannot wait to come out with a story of my own and to check out the beautiful lodge, meet some new people, and of course hook into some gigantic ocean fish!!!!!

A few months after that I'll be making my way back to the Skeena in the fall for another steelhead chase.

Looking forward to this year of fishing adventures

No, I love the Skagit, but more deck space would be appreciated. If it was the regular cab, I don't think I would ever sell it. It's set up more for a personal craft than a charter. Still extremely comfortable but a better fit for us would be another Sea Sport.

I'm getting pumped up about salmon this summer and it's 5 months away for me. Got the fever bad.

Would love to stay with you, but it being my two sons and me, I would need to work lots of overtime (they would never forgive me if I left them behind)....unless I leave the 18yr old with you to pay for it.

I keep thinking of bring the 25ft jet to Rupert, but need a few electronic upgrades first or tag along with another boat. We use the jet on Kitimat and maybe the Skeena this year instead......not sure....the Kitimat is always good to us.

But I will visit to have a beer with you, if it works out sched/ timing wise and the offer is open?

Here's a pic of the 18yr old and his 30lb (he's 6'2" for comparison). Mine was 1/2 inch bigger that trip.

The offer to come by for a beer is always open, time it right and you will get fed as well!
Love your Sons fish!

Fantastic Day!

RockymtnX has booked back into the Lodge. He and his crew have taken the whole thing. Always nice to have returning clients. Shows that we are doing things right! Last time was a epic trip, going to be tough to beat that one.

Ok, lets see some pics of last year or last decade.
I will search some up.

I don't know what my plan is .... My fishing buddy from the island has moved to the mainland and potentially my next trip might be up towards Rupert .... I hate ferries but north island has always treated me great!!

Might not make it for trip this year as I am going in June to Europe for four weeks!
Might have to send my dad out on a guided trip this year!!

How's the salmon forecast looking this year?
Tight lines

Just thought I would share this one.. I love this pic of Willy fighting his 25 pound Whale.
Best fight of the year. 25 minutes to bring it in, it broke the net.. Fantastic way to end the day and get the kid hooked!

Maybe my favourite picture of the past year! She was one tough cookie, minus being a huge sharks fan she was a blast!

Only 2.5 months till i am back in the promised land that is Prince Rupert.

With the start of our show circuit, i cant help but wake up every morning thinking about heading out and i fall asleep at night dreaming of the good times that are to come.

The Lodge has a possibility of hitting 200 guests this year, so i know this summer is going to be filled with thousands of laughs and hundreds of Salmon storys.

I want to pick up a old Peetz wooden reel and nail a tyee on it.
As well, i was going to pair it up with a old fashioned wooden plug.
Just researching old rods right now to complete the package.

If any has a old Peetz in working condition, i would like buy it from you.

Thanks
Jamie

Hey Jamie,

My old man has a ton of vintage salmon gear, I'll check and see if he wants to part with an old bamboo rod and Peetz reel. He lives on the island and goes to a ton of auctions and garage sales and pics up alot of old vintage gear and cleans it up for his collection.

Did you get it wrapped Jamie? We were thinking of doing that, pictures of the truck? Just wondering how it looks.

Browning, that would be fantastic.

Dave, we kept it simple, no wrap but perhaps next year

Fisherman guy, thanks for noticing, wave next time.
