Island Lake (Crowsnest)

Can anyone give me any info on this lake?
Still frozen?
Does one need a BC & Alberta license to fish it?
I didn't see it in the regs..?

It is under stocked lakes in ES1, I beleive. Fished it a couple times a year when I lived in Lethbridge but that was 4 yrs ago. Used to catch piles of 4 to 8 inch RM white fish and small brooks. Small hook with worm or maggot!
