Default Speer 46 gr fnsp

Is anyone using the Speer 46 grain fnsp bullet in the 223? It has a long bearing surface and I was wondering what powders could be used. This bullet shows that its made for the 218 Bee. Should be a good explosive bullet at 223 velocities if I can get some accuracy out of it.

Why would you want to shoot a flat nose bullet that is going to have terrible ballistics that reduce your effective range?

Most lighter 224 bullets have low ballistic coefficients to begin with, but the fnsp has the worst I have seen. My advice would be a 52 or 55 gr like the Hornady v max series or similar from another manufacturer. All will have plenty of explosive effect on varmints.
