Default i knew this was gonna happen!

Well after harvesting my nice 4x4 this year i went out today looking for a little more venison for the freezer! Well sitting in my usual place and a big doe walks out all alone she's a 100 yards winds all good and I think will take her, the looks back and guess what's hot on her heels! BIGGEST DEER I HAVE EVER SEEN ALIVE! He was 6x6 and huge probably my deers dad for cripes sake! If he wasn't 180-200 inches i would eat my hat! backed out without them seeing me and called my buddy for the morning! We get this monster he will owe me! I know i won't sleep tonite!

Second last buck I ever bagged was a 4x4. Day after taking him, I was driving down old smith highway middle of nowhere delivering some pipe insulation and a big narly 5x5 with a huge drop on his left side walked out like he owned the road. I almost cried. Almost certain my nose stuffed up. If it was legal to have chased him on foot, hold him down keeping him alive to cut off his antlers to then set him free, I may have. Haha, like I could and like I would... but you know how I was feeling.

It has happened to everyone when they're younger...remember the saying " if you want to shoot a big buck, don't shoot the small one"........
