Default Skinning a Badger for a full mount

Whats the best way to skin a Badger for a full mount.I am not sure if it would be the same way as a Bear or if casing the hide would work the best.

Thanks in advance,bm

Put your knife in between his ears and cut all the way down his back bone and out the tail. Then start at the back of each pad and cut up to the first elbow on each leg and seperate at the joint. You cut down the back because that is where there is the most hair and easier to hide stitching.
Thanks,
Curtis

Default skinning

take it to your taxidermist and have him do it. a bear is one thing and they have large paws that are easy to skin the claws out, but badgers are a little more tougher, and a missing claw may take away from your mount not to mention the eyes and lips. as a rule you do not save any money by skinning your own aminals as the price is including that work. if they skin it then they can make sure that the lips and eyes are done right and that they will not have to do a lot of extra work and can give you the best mount for your pleasure to look at and show your friends.

i agree with diesel, that way they can get proper measurements from it too. Someone who doesn't do alot of skinning would have a hard time aslo.
