Default Dead deer walking

Talk about a 1 in a million picture.

Ever been walking through the woods at night and had the sensation that something was following....

This picture is from Montana , where someone set out a motion sensor camera to see if any big bucks were passing in the area.

Great picture!I saw the same thing many years ago near Grande Cache, only it was a young bighorn ram instead of a deer.I was sitting in my old 4x4 in a clearing along Sheep Creek when this ram walked out with the cougar about 15 feet behind it.Once the cat spotted my vehicle it stopped and turned around and left.

there was a thread and a long discussion about this sam picture on here about a year ago.

I think most guys didn't believe it was real back then. The size of the cat is a bit much and there are some other questionable details around the lighting.

Default Sorry, its fake

Yeah, it is.....last year I spend about couple of hours on this pictures and went in very details into pictures pixels with different softwares and found out that it was a fake picture

The pic is combination of two pictures; one with cougar only and the other with deer only. Someone mix them together and did a good job..... I think I have both the pictures of cougar and the deer seperately....I will put them here if I can find them...

You wanted a cougar attacking something? From the shore of Lake Minnewanka last summer...

- nice shots Shekaree!

That Minnewanka cougar is known as 'Doug' - a big, 12 year old male.
He took down an elk at the Cascade Ponds day-use area (by the TransCanada Banff/Minnewanka turnoff) last weekend, and the week before, he took another elk on the edge of a fairway of the Silvertip Golf Course in Canmore.
He's a busy putty-tat, but has been behaving himself around people and their pets, so the wardens and C.O.s generally just close the kill areas until he's finished eating and moves on.
