I'm an avid outdoorsman. I hike, backcountry camp, fish, whatever gets me outdoors. I grew up with my family hunting. I'm now reactivated as a hunter, and pulled the trigger on my first deer this past fall. I hunt on foot, hiking in from the roads. That deer cart is a life saver!

When I'm old, and can't get around as much, I'll probably be a backroads hunter due to mobility issues, but as I'm not 30 yet, I hope that doesn't happen for 30 or so years!

I don't care - anything that gets me out. I use the quad to access area and then I get my ***** off it and walk.

You forgot air, or boat.... my two favorite hunting methods.

Is this poll for real?? Not bashing the author, just wondering is all??

We're given 2 legs and a heartbeat for a reason. Walking, hiking, still hunting.

I like using my boat to get to where I want to hunt on foot.
Ducks and geese of course, I do LOTS of walking - mainly from the decoys to the truck, from the blind to the birds, etc!!

I ticked off all of the options, since on any given day I may do all or none of the above listed choices.

Typical day might go like this;
drive to the spot.
Go sit in a blind, stand or other good vantage point, wait for the dawn to come, see what moves, if I see what I like I'll kill it, if not I'll wait a while, then move back to the truck, drive over to another property, all the while hunting as I go, but only if I have permission along the way, which may or may not be the case.

Then I may either sit another stand, blind or vantage point, I might walk and or stalk for a while, and then sit a good looking spot for a while, or maybe just move on, it all depends on my mood, the wind, the alignment of Mars with Venus, or maybe just the stains in my shorts.

I dunno. If I have access to a quad I might take a tour on one in the afternoon,

Maybe hook up with some friends and push some bush, but uh oh that one is'nt in the list.

Waitaminute, another faulted poll perhaps since you dont cover all the possible hunting styles, I just realize, still hunting is'nt part of it as well.
