Anyone know of any good areas in 326 for Elk hunting.I have seen lots of moose,deer and black bear but never any elk.Some suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have hunted 326 for a few years. There are some in that zone however they are more in the Northwestern end. Trust me they are not easy to find and access to where they might be can be difficult with motor vehicles. I will say that there is better elk hunting in other zones around that area.
thanks for the reply flower,what other zones are good around that area,I know 324 is good but it is a hit and miss there,never seen any elk there this past fall
Im new to elk hunting here and also was wondering where would be my best bet when appying for a draw? Im more interested in meat animals so im not really looking for trophys but still would be nice. so any suggestions would be great and im also willing to come help on a hunt with the cleaning and packing if someone is interested this fall. I also have family in the peace country in hudson hope and would be more than willing to help get access to great hunting areas there for the right person hudson hope is about an hr an a half west of fort st john tons of elk there but im not paying out of province fees. any hints would be great also would like to know if anyone has seen any elk in or around the whitcourt area?
