I didn't go to the Rendezvous this year and haven't seen or heard of any reports as to how it went, who won the Ultimate Trapper Competition etc.. Did anyone on the Forum go?
Travis Jaburek of Falun, AB won the event two years in a row now. It was a really great event this year, I think he skinned his coyote in 5 minutes.
The hi-lite was the snowshoe race carrying a blanket beaver.

The wife and I went (it was our first rendezvous) and took our 5 y.o. grandson, we had a great time. Saw some interesting stuff and met some very interesting people. Food was good, well worth attending. The ATA and STA did a great job, kudos to the organizers and volunteers!

By the sound of it or maybe the lack of sound, it doesn't appear that a hell of a lot happened at Lloyd.
I've spoken to a few but wouldn't like to comment on what just a few said.
