Braggadoe,
where did you find so many women that fly fish? My wife would love to find a group like that and go fishing. It seems fly gals are hard to come by as partners. We usually go together but she does not take too well to my lessons and teachings.

Nice rig. The nippers are nice too. I wish I could justify paying $50 for a pair. Haha, coming from a guy who has a Hardy Zenith rod and 2 Hardy reels.
One day... Maybe.
Do you like your Orvis rod? Is it the Helios? I've been meaning to try to one.

I couldn't justify the nippers either they were painted to match our reels and cost about a $100 each. Ended up getting them for free from Abel as a gift for the both of us. Very nice of them and we are very happy with them.
The Helios is awesome, it is very light and casts very well. I couldn't decide between the Sage and the Helios but after casting it a few times and going back and forth the Helios just felt like an extension to my arm Surely enough the wife loved it too so had to get her one as well, however I had my heart set on the Sage ONE.

Where did you pick up the Abels? Did you order them direct from Abel?

Vey nice setups guys and some really nice photography! It truly does not matter what the setup is as long as it works and gets you out there to enjoy it. Keep it coming, lets pass some more time.

Nothin' too fancy-schmancy here.
I did just upgrade my 5wt reel to a nice Sage...(that rod will be upgraded soon, as well.)...
This is the reel it replaced; the drag is garbage, probably will use it as a paperweight now...
My 7ft 3wt TFO rod & reliable Okuma reel...
Even less expensive Okuma 5wt reel that I just lined with a sink tip to throw streamers...
My favorite outfit! 6ft 2wt TFO rod with an Orvis battenkill reel...
Lots of fun to fish for cutties with the 2wt twig...
...but, it can handle bigger fish, as well!
