About 12 weeks, outside plants that I put in just before the snow. I thought it was when about half trichomes started turning amber.

Too late!

Best to use a magnifier or microscope. When the trichromes, white globules, are just turning from clear to opaque is when the high will be bright and awake. When the trichromes turn fully white the high will be more narcotic or put you crosseyed on the couch. Or when half of the white hairs, stamens, start turning color. Either way it looks yummy. Beautiful plant.

You are probably 2-3 weeks away if you have them under a decent grow light. I harvest when 50% of the trichomes turn amber. The pistils (hairs) are not the same as the trichomes (glands on the flower). Buy a cheap jewellers loupe to get a proper view.

Too many people chop early. It really pays off to wait for the plants to properly ripen. Rarely does a plant produce good weight, potency and ripen quick, that’s why such clones go for $1k a pop. If you seed pack says 8 weeks flowering, bank on 10-11 weeks.

Depends. Definitely not too late. Still early by the looks of it. Are you using nutes? If so when’s the last time you fed it? Biggest thing at this point is a proper flush.. and she needs a bit by the looks of it.
