Default seriously considering moving back to Alberta after 12 years in SK

so the wife and I seriously considering moving back to Alberta
I always lived west of Edmonton
Nojack area, peers, Edson , 1/2 way between Edson & Whitecourt SpruceGrove /Stonyplain areas
but are considering the east side along the SK boarder south of Lloyd maybe as far south as east of Medicine Hat but thinking east of Camrose provost area would be as far south as we'd like maybe west as far as Vegreville and south
what's the water like as in water wells?? hard? soft? potable ?
what's the weather like in the winter??
what's the neighbour hoods ( communities ) friendly?? clicky ??like ??
land housing well that I can figure out easy enough
we are just tired of living in a clicky lonely unsociable mining area and town where everyone works together day or night at the mine and don't socialise after leaving work because they see each other on a daily hourly basis at work
and want to move closer to kids and grandchildren as well ,

Lots of nice places in the areas you mention.

The only suggestion I have is regarding water. You can go to this interactive map and scroll into an area and it will show all the water wells. click on the well and it may give you some info.

Good call DW,
I have possibly 3 job offers coming in the next few months, in very differing locations, and ya,
I’ll be choosing the location closest to family.
Can’t help u in those areas tho,

TBark
