Heading up to La Plonge to fish the lake and Beaver River near Beauval. Will be first time for our group and just wondering if anyone has been out this spring and can share any information about how their trip went?

haven't been out this spring, but in the past i've had luck in La Plonge with silver williams wobblers, and 5 of diamonds. The beaver i've had good luck using hot n tots in the purple colour pattern. good luck.

We ended up fishing La Plonge for 1-1/2 days and Beaver river for about the same amount of time. The bite was slow for everyone at La Plonge for both lakers and pike. We managed to hook into a few 10-12lbers. The Beaver river is full of 1-3lb Walleye, but didn't see anything bigger.
