Default Whitefish at Travers

Sudden change of plans is allowing me to take the boat out tomorrow. I was thinking of trying for whitefish at Travers Res. I've heard there's a good population here and have yet to catch one of these fish.

Problem is I've also heard that Whitefish typically only bite until around 10am, but I won't be able to get on the water until noon at the earliest.

Wondering if anyone can let me know if I'm wasting my time fishing for whites after 10am or not?

Awesome. Thanks for the tip.

Worst case scenario I can do some C&R for Walleye's and Pike. Either way, beats sitting in an office.

Easy to catch all day, they cruise the shorelines.
