Default Donating a deer mount ideas

I am downsizing and would possibly like to donate a shoulder mount whitetail. Not sell but donate. It is legal as long as there is a bill of lading signed.

I know most hunters would only like to display their own hunted deer but just wondering what other guys thoughts are....

My question is :
Looking for ideas on where would be the best place to donate this? A fish and game association clubhouse? A young individual interested in hunting? A place of business like a sporting good store? A vegan restaurant ?

Any ideas are welcome. The picture is of the mount. A 4x4 155 typical.

Maybe a restaurant or a bar and grill?

I know a fella that has a moose mount “in trust” at the local F&W club.

Default Blackjacks

Blackjacks roadhouse in Nisku would probably take it. They have quite a few mounts including African and they help out fundraisers for good causes.

Red, darn generous of ya.

I think donate it to a up coming new hunter. I can remember getting outa bed when I was young with my Dad and brothers in hopes of seeing something like that....

Just me though... but... when your twelve your buddies will believe anything... Lol...

Nice buck, hope you find a good home for it..

Also going to donate a set of antlers from a brute of a deer. A 6x6 typical. 59 inches total. Would be great for a jackolope or antlered coyote mount. The second pic shows how small the rack is.
(I took the plates off the plaque that told about the deer.)

After a couple AO members suggested donating to the local Hunter Education program with AHEIA I have decided the mount will go there. Hopefully it will inspire and be admired by a few new hunters.

Thank you for the input and suggestions.

AHEIA has so many donated mounts they are in storage.
another option is Hinton Fish & Game / Archery facility, they have a nice building used for education as well. they received a large collection from a private individual couple years ago. all on dosplay

Jeez.. Now I might have to rethink things. I don't want the ont to just go into storage.

Oops. The "ont" in my above statement should have said mount.
